Welcome to Wangaratta Regional Presbyterian Parish!
The Wangaratta Parish consists of 2 congregations: Wangaratta and Myrtleford Presbyterian Churches. We exist to glorify God and make Jesus known.
We are a church of God, simply meaning we are a group of people who love and honour God, called to do so through his Son, Jesus. We are gathered together from different backgrounds, cultures and ages but we are one in Christ.
We uphold the Bible as God’s inerrant, infallible, breathed-out word that points to Jesus of Nazareth as God’s Son and the only name under heaven by which people may be brought into eternal life with God (Acts 4:12). Therefore, we spend time each week learning from the Bible in our weekly gatherings on Sunday and Bible study groups throughout the week. We are also a reformed church which means we acknowledge and uphold the teaching of the reformers from the 16th century, particularly that people are saved by faith alone, through grace alone, in Christ alone as taught in scripture alone to the glory of God alone.
